Maître Romain Mirabile (hereinafter "the Lawyer", "we") is committed to protecting your privacy and processing your personal data transparently, securely, and in compliance with regulations.
This policy describes the data we process when you visit this site, the purposes of such processing, their legal bases, the data recipients, their retention period, and your rights.

We process your data in accordance with the amended French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The Lawyer is the data controller for all processing described herein, unless otherwise specified.
Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, directly or indirectly: name, email address, phone number, or even a photo that allows the person to be recognized.
The term "processing" covers any operation involving personal data: collection, recording, storage, consultation, use, sharing, or deletion.
Performance of a service contract. If you use our services, we process your first name, last name, position, contact details (email, phone), and information related to invoicing and payment. Legal basis: performance of the contract, or your consent.
Contact via the website. If you use a contact form or appointment booking tool, we process the information you provide (name, email, and any information you freely communicate to us). Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to your request.
Compliance with legal obligations. We may process your data to comply with our legal obligations (accounting, tax) or a request from an authority or court. Legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation.
Defense of our rights. We may process your data to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim. Legal basis: our legitimate interest.
Based on your consent. When processing is based on your consent, it is collected beforehand for a specific purpose. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to rmirabile@mirabile-avocat.com; this withdrawal is only valid for the future.
Cookies and audience measurement. During your visit, and subject to your consent for non-essential cookies, we may collect technical data (IP address, device type, browser, operating system, country) and browsing data (pages viewed, duration, path). See section 8.
Only individuals who need access to your data for the purposes listed above have access to it.
We use service providers who process certain data on our behalf, bound by a contract guaranteeing a level of protection equivalent to ours. To date, the appointment scheduling tool Calendly may process your data (policy: calendly.com/fr/pages/privacy).
Your data may also be disclosed to authorities (police, tax administration, courts) when required by law.
Some service providers may be located outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards (European Commission adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses).
The Lawyer does not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.
Clients: your data is retained for the duration of the contractual relationship, then for the applicable legal limitation period (up to five years), and beyond when required by law (e.g., accounting obligations).
Requests via forms: the time required to process your request.
Data based on consent: until withdrawal of your consent, and for a maximum of three years after our last contact.

Under the conditions provided by the GDPR, you have the following rights: access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, data portability, withdrawal of consent, as well as the right to define the fate of your data after your death.

We will respond within one month, extendable by two months in the case of a complex request, in which case you will be informed.
